Circumstances in which you wouldn’t want a business coach
While a lot of articles may go to any extent, propagating the need for a business coach and how the same may help you immensely with your life and business, there are certain situations in which you may probably be better off without a business coach. In this article, we explore some of those situations where you might just be better off without one.
PREDICTING THE FUTURE
Remember that business coaches are not astrologers and neither do they have any clairvoyant capabilities. Expecting your business coach to prophesize the way your future would hold out would be an absolutely fruitless endeavor. In case you are planning to hire a business coach only to get an idea of the way things would unfold for you in the future, save your time and money by not hiring a business coach for such a requirement.
HELPING YOU WITH AILMENTS AND ILLNESSES
Just as business coaches are not astrologers, they are not medical practitioners either; by expecting that they will be able to assist you in any way when you are ill would be a completely false belief. In this regard, it maybe pertinent to mention that business coaches are not magicians. So any circumstance in which you expect that these life and business coaches would bring about a miracle like situation for you, would be a false belief of epic proportions.
SIMPLY LOOKING FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
A business coach must be hired for overall well being of your business and not only for financial security or stability or assistance, when your business is facing a financial crunch. If you think your business coach is a financial whiz who can turn things around, no matter how bad a state your business may be in, you are very badly mistaken. The same holds true for business coaches who proclaim that they can turn any business around, however bad a state it may be in. You should ideally not hire such executive coaches at all; they seem as unscrupulous as their claims.
BEING RESISTANT TO CHANGE
If you are immensely resistant to change, then again you are probably better off without a business coach. Remember that change is one of the foremost reasons for which business coaches are hired and if you are unable to change yourself and see things from the point of view of the personal business coach, then there really is no point for you to hire the person.
