Lesson 1: You’ll learn how to make your computer as fast as it can be for video editing. Also I discuss hard drives and their read/write speeds and how this can effect your editing experience. Finally, I discuss logical ways to save your work. Duration: 19 Minutes


Lesson 2: You’ll learn how to make simple edits to your video sequence. Learn the razor tool, the ripple delete and more. You’ll be introduced to the Source Monitor and various methods of trimming clips for fast and effective editing. Duration: 30 Minutes


Lesson 3: You’ll learn how to import images in order to make a slideshow. You’ll learn about key frames in order to create zoom and panning effects. You’ll learn how to set the preferences in order to import images that come in either scaled or full size. Duration: 19 Minutes


Lesson 4: You’ll start in Photoshop and created a layered fil that can easily be imported into Premiere Pro. In addition, you learn how to quickly replace images using the “Replace with Clip” feature. Selecting video and audio layers is discussed. Duration: 20 Minutes


Lesson 5: You’ll learn how to shoot with two cameras, syncronize them with a optional audio source and bring them into a timeline in Premiere Pro. Then, once syncronized, you’ll learn about the powerful MultiCamera Monitor. Duration: 18 Minutes


Lesson 6: You’ll learn all about using Effects and Filters in order to color correct poorly shot video. In addition, you learn about Chroma Key and Ultra Key, two great filters that aid in your greenscreening. Finally will look at some third-party filters. Duration: 25 Minutes


Lesson 7: You’ll learn how to silhouette images in Photoshop and then bring them into Premiere Pro with a clear, transparent background. These images will be used in a complex animated timeline, when saved will provide a dynamic motion menu. Duration: 15 Minutes


Lesson 8: You’ll learn how to prepare files for exporting to Encore as well as how to make Rolling End Credits that you can use in your DVD. Additionally, I’ll discuss some export settings for creating DVDs and issues around “over scan”. Duration: 16 Minutes


Lesson 9: We’ll be finishing up the Encore tutorial we began in the last lesson. We’ll add all the source videos, build menus and tweak them in Photoshop. We’ll finally test the DVD using Encore’s interface and prepare to render the project. Duration: 30 Minutes


Lesson 10: You’ll learn how to import video from a Standard Definition camera as well as AVCHD from the Panasonic HMC150 and the Canon Rebel T1i. We’ll next explore ways to upload your files to YouTube for the best quality possible. Duration: 27 Minutes


Lesson 11: You’ll learn lots of ways to manipulate audio using Premiere Pro. We’ll also learn to export audio from a timeline and do some tweaks in Adobe Audition. Finally, you’ll learn how to add sound effects to multiple audio tracks. Duration: 30 Minutes


Lesson 12: You’ll learn how to make an impressive “walk on” green screen effect. You learn how to export from Premiere Pro to Flash and then assemble it all into a web page using Dreamweaver. Finally, I conclude by discussing how to back up projects. Duration: 35 Minutes
